I'd had a handful of these done for a while, but a day or two ago I got a sudden whir  of inspiration (&desire!) to make icons and the more and more I made, the more I realized, These are all SMAP-centric, aren't they? so I decided then and there I'd just make an exclusively SMAP icon-batch because there's never enough SMAPPIE love <4.

And yuh, photoshop has finally decided to let me make successful gifs so I played around and made just two (FOR NOW), I wanted to make more, trust me, but now that it finally works, I'm gonna' be going through my videos and whatnot, looking for more gif-able moments it seems, hahah. YOSH. /CAN'T WAIT

Hm. I think that's about it for now, mucho (and numerous) thanks for all the awesome comments I've been getting about these--it makes me so sad to see how small (in comparison to Uh-rash-ee, KAT-TUN & even NEWS) the SMAP fandom on lj is (which is why I think I've been so focussed on SMAP lately and making icons and writing fanfics--it's so tightknit and everyone who's been contributing to the SMAP fandom, honestly, you guys rock :DD).

P.S. Just credit me as so (credit user: dictionarysays  ) when taking these badboys, yanno, the usual, hahah.
P.S.S. I'm still too curious for my own good, so lemme' know which numbers you end up taking.

Hahaha, oh man, #013 is one of my fav's and one of the longer ones it took to make too. I don't know why I make myself smudge ridiculously detailed backgrounds (he just had to be in some highly-detailed lit-up room before I managed to pick out a colour at the top and start from there). Yeaaaah, I gotta' soft spot for Mr. Brain too. /WINKS

You KNOW #037 is the epitome of Nakai-kun and everything he believes in (I love it too--that's not egotistical, right? I just thought it turned out well and cute and Nakai's awesome face/smile/mm did most of the work, hahah). I love Nakai's expressions; he's da bomb at 'em (even if he's only faking)--but jesus christ on a bagel, lard knows I love how the muscle's on that man's face work. /SWOONS

Ok, in the last set, took 52, 56-58, 62, 68, 69, 73 & 75. I *love* the Loser Reporter Bros, by the way so that is serious win in my book! All the Shingo and Goro are snatched...32, 36, 37 (I ♥ this one!), 39 & 40 in Nakai's set...2, 3, 5, 6 & & of Tsuyoppon's. I love the colours you zing with him, sooo pretty. Aaaaand, 21, 22 & 30 of Kimura-kun's.

Oooh, I hang my head in shame while I'm figuring out my rota for showing them the love. I just have to learn to do the linky thing for user names, I always give credit in the info space bit for the icons I use though.

{{massive hugs}} for such gorgeous work. I do agree that some of those other Johnny's Boys get a little more attention but you're single-handedly doing a huge part in assuring SMAP aren't left out. Thanks for being such a sweetie!

Okay, so first and foremost:

So like, major FTWs to you for not only having a Goro-chan fangirl heart but for twirlies. Shingo-chan is my completely admitted bias but aside from that, I seriously don't (I JUST CAN'T) have favourites--it's so difficult, one second I'm swooning over the hair in Kim's face, the next, I'm trying to Google-map where the hell Nakai-kun lives because I want me so more of his laugh (&everythingelse).

These boys (I call 'em boys and yet they're 10+ years my senior HA) are ridiculous. THEY SHOULD NOT BE GETTING BETTER LOOKING AND CUTER AND JUST MORE AWESOME WITH AGE.

LOSER REPORTER BROS. /FTW I was looking through my screencaps (which I really have to start deleting again--I'm back in the 2000s /GUH) and saw all my screencaps I had of 'em and decided it was high-time they got some lovin' (I've never found icons of 'em so I figured I'd just make 'em myself ;D). They're adorkable, in a word.

It's funny too, since I totally started out on lj being all UH-RASH-EE (they're the first Johnny's I officially fell in love with, so I still love 'em, even now, just, lately, they've been taking a backseat to SMAP hahah), but at the same time, what rocks so much about the SMAP-fandom on lj is that it is so small and it's oh so very easy to get to know people and discuss Goro's blow-drying tendencies and just have a blast, y'know? And then all the love fans are giving (whether it be through icons, 'fics, translations, subs, scans, everything)--you get to appreciate it that much more. So I can't complain too much. /THUMBS UP

Lol! This is true (although i love Arashi <3). Its pretty hard to come by SMAP things...I recently joined the fandom so I'm trying to learn more about them (aka "submerge myself into the SMAP pool"). Kinda wish I joined sooner...waaay sooner. Lol.
As for the ones I'm taking (although can't use right away...damn icon limit ><) are:
- 01, 037, 051, 068 - the lulz
- all the Shingo ones - i just can't get enough of this kid XD
- 022, 027, 029 - who can't resist Kimura Takuya?
- 043, 049 - Ingaki is just too adorable, plus hes holding a cat! X3
- 073 - because Shingo + Tsuyopon = Happiness.

Hahah, I love Arashi too (like, they were my first Johnny's love--but the fandom, it's so LARGE--SMAP deserves at least the same amount if not somuch more <4). Like, I know it helps that they're relatively young and boy-ish and whatever but so are SMAP (if anything, they've gone from gangly, lanky, hot, cute boys to how-the-EFF-do-you-manage-to-look-that-good men. I could go on for days about this so I'll stop here, hahah. :DD

I joined late, too, hahah, it's been about half a year and I STILL feel like I don't know enough about these boys (it doesn't help that there's so much raw out there that I can't possibly understand until I magically learn fluent Japanese). There's so much out there, though, there's the index of JE videos, translations, 'fics, icons, scans, pure awesomeness pretty much--& the people in the SMAP fandom are really welcoming and are always willing to spread the SMAP-love. /SMILES

Just through conversations with fellow SMAP-lovers, I've learned a whole lot, hahah.

It's ridiculous how quickly and easily SMAP took over my icons, hahah. I used to have loads of Uh-rash-ee but then I made a conscious decision about a week or so ago that for the time being, SMAP was going to be invading my space (for an indefinite amount of time).

Hmm, 01 is a screencap I made of Tsuyopon. Of what show I can't remember. I just remember thinking, 'I like him in zebra-ish cardigans' and then the icon came about about a month later or so, hahah.

And yes! 055 is Tongue-Twisters. /BEAMS AT THE MEMORY OF THEIR HILARITY IN THOSE EPISODES I really should make a gif of Shingo-chan's triumphant face after they applauded for him too, hahah, it was a great grinsmirkthing.

Tsu: Loving 05 for the lulz, 06 for the pretty, and 010 for the adorbs factor.
Shingo: 016 for the pretty hodang, 019 for the hot hodang, 011 for the lulz, 015 for the other pretty.
Kimura: 026 026 026, I don't even know why, but I absolutely love this icon. ;.; Most precious smiling face I've ever seen. And all the Mr Brain ones are cute (I can't decide on a favorite, curse it). And 023 with the laughing....and P-chan...and and his little ~up-do~, lol okay so that is them all.
Nakai: 037, lol! That face. I love him. 040 is cute in one way, and 038 is cute in another.
Goro: 042! I want it so bad omg, maybe I should make room. Fierce dancing Goro. That's right he's boss, lol, ahem. 044~ and then 041 and 043 are just..pretty...so pretty.
