Kimura/Goro | PG
I definitely wrote this in five minutes on the bus to school this afternoon on some ratty line paper I found in my backpack (thank god) while listening to Lion Heart on repeat. I keep having a TakuGoro itch, maybe this drabble'll be the start of something long? I hope so. I want to write more TakuGoro (woohoo for my first TakuGoro).
Goro’s evenings are simple: come in, feed his cats (SMAP’s usually waiting at her bowl when he gets in, but Jazz is another story and it takes another fifteen minutes of coddling him before Jazz has worked up an appetite), then fix himself a late dinner because he’s always loved eating late.
Tonight’s no different and he’s completely immersed in a late night variety show, forking more stir fry from his plate when the doorbell rings.
Its past midnight so when he gets to the door he’s not expecting Kimura whose grinning and drenched (Goro had no idea it was raining so hard) and he lets himself in.
“Kimura?”
“Mm,” Kimura acknowledges him and despite his unexpected appearance and the wet seaweed on his head that’s supposed to be his hair, he makes a beeline for the living room, honing in on Goro’s dinner and starting in on that; managing to make himself comfortable.
Goro frowns, mostly out of confusion, a little bit out of awe and follows after him, scratching his head and staring, arms crossed. For a few moments the lights from the TV play off Kimura’s face, intent on finishing Goro’s plate off, chuckling past teriyaki sauce and red peppers when something funny happens on the screen.
“Why are you here?” Goro manages to murmur this softer than he wants to, stepping over and halting the chopsticks in Kimura’s hand. He looks up and smiles sheepishly at that, Goro makes a face because damp russet pieces of hair are all over his face and he clearly doesn’t care.
“I’m wet.”
“I noticed, but why do you have to be wet in here?” Kimura grabs part of Goro’s top and forces him down beside him, laughing and not making any room, which leaves Goro squished between the arm of the couch and a wet and itchy Kimura.
Goro sighs.
“Shizuka took the girls to see her parents,” he says it simply and Goro doesn’t ask anything more, because if anyone can’t stand being alone it’s Kimura and when he picks up the chopsticks again, mumbling something about this needing more meat and stares at the TV again, Goro loses against himself and smiles. Sort of.
At three in the morning, after Kimura’s beat him at goldfish for the seventh time and they’re setting up the futon for Kimura to sleep on; it hits Goro that his nights might be simple, but sometimes the warmth growing in his stomach as Kimura asks for a pillow is simpler.

Date: 2010-10-28 06:45 am (UTC)That was cute and sweet, and sort of heart breaking for Goro ALL the same. I've been needing my SMAP fic dose! After all the amazing 2Tops fics last week, this week was painfully quiet and I was hoping to see something this morning and tadah! :D YEAY you.
Jazz is another story and it takes another fifteen minutes of coddling him before Jazz has worked up an appetite
I love cats. And Jazz sounds super adorable -swoons- And I can just imagine Goro just coddling a little widdle cat. AWWW. -melts-

Part of me thinks that Kimura is never grinning if he's all drenched, but I like it that he's HAPPY to be at Goro's :P Or somewhat sheepish, but trying very hard to hide it.

Aww, won't it be fun if he saw himself on TV? I always imagine SMAP members staring at each other on tv. Hmmmmmmm. ;)

EEP. JUST JUMP HIM GORO. JUMP HIM, NOW. Aww, darn, no he didn't :X Don't mistake me though, I really loved the sweetness of the whole fic, and it totally worked, but my overactive imagination just thought of something else immediately when Kimura pulled Goro down to the couch :P And when Goro's all squished and in close proximity and Kimura's wet, and Goro's probably that bit flushed. Oops, there goes my imagination again :X
Goro loses against himself and smiles. Sort of.
Stop that 'sort of'-ing Goro, you know you're hopelessly lost in his smile. DENIAL, I SAY. So apparently, I don't only talk to Nakai in my head these days. Sigh.

He should really be feeling warm all over and they could have spent all that time doing something better, like giving each other blowjobsBut nooo, that was so sweet and sort of-ish heart breaking cause Goro's just SO into Kimura but he has Shizuka and all, and he's just content knowing he can make Kimura's lonely nights that bit less lonely. Poor thing ): And the fact he's actually happy and warm, should make me feel happy for him too, but I just feel all, SighGoro. ):But it was sweet! And pretty! And you managed to make a sweet fluffy thing all so sad at once. I'm feeling all mixed emotions now. WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T WRITE DRABBLES?! Haha. Tsk you, you've just proven yourself wrong. So uhm, please get around to writing more? (Although I feel bad because who I am to ask you to oblige me when I've been so lazy lately.. :X)

A lonely wet Kimura and a yasashii Goro are the best ^^

Date: 2010-11-07 05:07 pm (UTC)a part of me wants MORE SLASH, but this part is always present and will always want it so I think you can safely ignore it, while the rest of me says that I really enjoyed this under-the-surface feeling. it is kind of heartbreaking, but the heartbreaking is under the surface too so it's not that painful and it makes the whole thing cute. and then perhaps Goro is the only person that can have a wet, grinning Kimu on his couch, eating his food, and not jump him. I'm actually full of admiration for his self-restraint. ;P
but omg, Goro's cats. every mention of Goro's cats is win and lol, their names. Jazz is actually a sweet name and SMAP is just something Goro could come up with. I've been trying to figure out some names for my Goro's cats but I still haven't got any, except that I'm really convinced that one of them might be Takuya. but then I don't know what about the other, because even Goro wouldn't name a cat after himself
I hope. XDobviously a wet Kimu is another win!mention just because he's wet. and then I can imagine him actually taking of his wet wet shirt on his way to Goro's couch and throwing it to the floor and expecting Goro to bring him a towel or something. but perhaps this is a wrong direction and not that sweet. because the fic is sweet and it's the best like that.
Goro loses against himself and smiles. Sort of.
this really got me because it's so bittersweet and so Goro at the same time and just unf.
and "just unf" would probably be my universal response to your fics. <3
