I need to admit, I was waiting for your negative comments on this drama :) You made me realize so much things about Karei naru and other Senpai dramas, as well. I'm too biased, and too easily get amazed, so this drama is perfect in my eyes, not as much as Karei naru was, but definitely loved every episodes so far...
They made me a fan only with those nationalistic propagandas, and the speeches... I was crying on the first episode, when I watched it without subs and Senpai spoke on the ship... that whole picture of him with the japanese flag in the background... omg, I still got goosebumps... I'm weak, really, really weak against characters like Kuramochi. He is the typical dreamer-hero, and has so much in common with Teppei, if we want to compare it to Karei-naru... Only Teppei dreams were more realistic, ne? What Kuramochi and Sensei want exist only on the ideas' world... But definitely had an effect on the japanese people at beginning...
Oh the kids... I wish they would have spent much more time with them before went to Nankyoku.
Hm~ That scene with the workers ^^" It was certainly stolen from Karei naru, I kinda expected Nari to show up x'D And I had many dejavu in the first ep, when watched Senpai to beg for money to make his dream come true. Those humilitaing moments made me had a huge like on him, not to mention his hero attitude. Yeah, as I said, I'm weak, and easily get amazed.
I know it's not that good as Karei naru was, and it won't be either from now on, still I really hope we'll get an ending, which makes everybody happy, they watched it till the end.
Ps: If it's that predictable, they won't let Himuro die, right? On this happening, I really really have a trust in predictibility, he is in the second important role after all...
