Okay, so let's stop the whining... At the beginning, at the time I had the naive idea that he probably just broke up with Tsu, I really love the way each and every member is there for him... It's so sweet... The idea with counting from the moment his stomach is churning is amazing... The scene that really really got me is the moment of realization in dressing room, when he realizes that all of them were hurting, that all of them were dying too... his apologizing to them and his agonizing over ignoring their pain... GOSH... This one especially kicked me: " “But I forgot. You guys are too. And, I mean—I’m sorry. I’m sorry for forgetting, I’m sorry for never asking ‘how are you?’”"....And the memory of Tsu that are breaking down are simply heart-breaking... And all that thing with memorial made me really sick... Selling such a thing... Nakai-kun's line: "“I’ll say something then, but nothing else—our grief isn’t something of yours to sell.”" was just simply awesome... I definitely love this part most (if it's appropriate to call it "love"): "(But Shingo distinctly remembers Kimura cornering Nakai during a makeshift rehearsal and whispering things that made the older man almost cry—if it weren’t for the way Nakai had pulled the brim of his beanie over his eyes and Kimura had slipped a hand up the back of their leader’s neck, Shingo wouldn’t have had a clue. It was later in the corridor when Goro had told him that Takuya would be speaking at the memorial instead, that Shingo knew for sure)" - It so reminds me of the time when Mori was leaving and Kimura jumped into moderating, because Nakai was too emotional to handle it... And also the figure of 2TOP like that is really strong... All the memorial thing, the way members were supporting each other and Shingo's admiration for Kimura was amazing... And the end... When all of them go to his house, and Nakai just cries into his chest and then Goro hugs Kimura saying "I'm proud"... and then this part: "and when he smoothes Kimura’s hair out, everything in Shingo’s gut twists so he shuts his eyes and swears he won’t fall (if he does, who’ll hold Nakai up?)." I love the side thought "if he does..." And the very ending made me fall in love with SMAP once again all over...
And the last but not least...If I didn't love you as much as I do, I would probably really end up hating you for this...(which I hate myself for)
Anyway, thank you for writing this amazing stuff and I really wonder what I will be dreaming about tonight
