What happens when tumblr and the 2046 pictures heretic shared and boredom and rewatching chungking express and must-photoshop-when-i-have-better-things-to-do come together. I was going to rewatch happy together too but I couldn't find streams and now it's too late to try and watch anything else.

I just watched 2046 twice when I found it on the rental shop in Japan lol (Because here in my country is almost impossible to find Asian movies) But I watched it like there was no tomorrow 8D And then I thought in write a crossover fic about 2046 and Hotel Venus. But it stills only in my mind orz

Never watched that other movie; but if there's Kaneshiro Takeshi I might give it a try! XD

Aaah! Twice is good too, lol, it's definitely one of those films that you get more out of the more you watch it. (And I know what you mean, it's not difficult per se, but you do usually have to go out of your way and go to an asian-oriented place or some rental stores have foreign-sections and since there's a lot of asians in canada in general, you can find smth there) Ooh, a crossover of those two? Crossovers always intrigue me~ /ignore the fact I haven't watched hotel venus yet LOL

I recommend it with all my heart and soul! Admittedly, Kaneshiro is only in like the first half, since the film's made up of 2 stories of love about 2 cops and it happens in the same universe though so there's some crossover of the two and it's really-really good. Kaneshiro looks so young and adorable and honest-to-god he looks 12.

I liked Hotel Venus! It was a bit confusing, but not bad :D Actually it was very different from what I had imagined, but wasn't bad at all
I'm not gonna lie, I don't remember much of the movie right now *FAILMAO* but I remember it had pretty messages/lines (my favorite is about the flower anemone).

Hm, I'm not a big fan of crossovers, but sometimes when I find stories that have worlds that could meet/fit perfectly with each other, I make my own version of the dramas/movies in my mind XD

Aw, sounds confusing (@_@) But I like confusing stories - even that I feel frustrated in the end lol

It sounds like it'd be good! I've read the summary billions of times, it's mostly just a matter of actually going ahead and watching it, lol. And I know some of the korean actors too so I want to see them working with Tsuyopon too |D;;

Ooh, pretty messages, I'm down with that. Is it kind of like all the different characters and their stories etcetc and their paths sort of intersecting kind of thing? Or not at all? LOL.

I totally know what you mean, I'm not necessarily a fan, but it interests me all the same and I definitely don't really do it myself. It's interesting to see what people can come up with though, and some crossovers really work. Oh man, ME TOO. It's so hard not to imagine it when they meld so well. xD

Oh no no, I swear I'm making it sound more confusing than it actually is. :3 It's pretty straightforward. Just think of them as nearly two different stories that are similar in some ways (like both cops eat at the same stall, they're both cops, they know some of the same people and that's that, really, superficially at least).

Unfortunately I CAN'T remember at all the characters' stories and such so... uh... why am I talking about Hotel Venus anyway? 8D LMAO

Ohhh I got it! When you said it was made up of 2 stories I imagined it was like a Korean movie I watched once. It was actually about two different stories in different time lines so it was VERY confusing to me lol
I will look for that movie! :D

LOL, don't even worry about it. I'm totally like that too with some films, I'll usually just remember the gist but then like remember I really liked it despite the fact I can't remember what goes on. It still encourages me to finally check it out whenever I get the chance. P:

Naaaw, naw, and they happen one after another too, so it's easier to follow. They're just in the same universe kind of thing and they tie together in some ways, etcetc. Movies like that that have a billion stories going on at the same time *cough*2046*cough* even though i love it like burning all the same, ahaha can sometimes get confusing and they end up making more and more sense the more you watch it. BUT YEAH. Whoohoo! Watch it, totally. If you ever want a stream link for a it, just let me know, I rewatched it on dailymotion. :3
